We see art in everything. We want to build a place to encourage self expression. We want to see anything you’ve made even if you think it’s not worth seeing. No matter who you are, where you are, what you do , how good or bad you think you are, if you want your name on it or not. This is a place for your thoughts, doodles, scribbles, half written poems, words in no particular order, a bit of music you tried to make, a drawing from an art class you tried that time. Send us ANYTHING
WHO?
We are Practically Creative, interdisciplinary artists working together towards shared aims, ideologies, political and social views. Our goal is to elevate art through collaboration. There is so much variety in self expression we want to facilitate a space to allow people to explore that. Consumer culture drives the art world, this space breaks away from the mainstream. This is not a work of art. Therefore is no room for individual competition for a place as the ‘best’. A mutual platform to be expressive together during these times.
WHY?
Because we know people that have made something that we think is interesting but they can’t see it’s value without comparing it to the world of art. They believe it has to be perfect otherwise it’s not good enough to even look at and typically destroy it. All we really want to do is encourage people to accept imperfection in the creative process and accept that anything; drawings, painting, music composition, writing, poetry etc is an iterative process of developing skills and techniques. You shouldn’t limit your self expression and creativity because you believe that you ‘aren’t good enough’.

COPYRIGHT
We have major respect for individual ownership. By submitting to the space, you still retain ownership of your work. We will add your work to the site, but your work is your work. You do grant a license to use it as needed for the project. We have NO plans to profit from this space, however, if that ever did come up, we MUST contact you with a responsible amount of time for you to respond. This means we will retain email data as per UK GDPR Regulations.
